In August 1969

The end of the night when you think “perhaps I should have left ages ago”

A rising groove mixed with nimble instrumentation that pulls the listener deeper into the dance

NIGHTMARES ON WAX - SMOKERS DELIGHT Vinyl 2xLP R&B unique and beautiful musicGeorge Evelyn's solo step as Nightmares on Wax, Smokers Delight, is a whole delightfully irreducible to its parts, which, as with earlier releases, is largely electro, hip hop, and soul, with bits of Latin percussion and down tempo funk thrown in.
