and long silences

In this new moment of my journey

Inspired by the shape of the discarded wood panel

I am compelled to compose visual music from the cacophony of thoughts that dwell within

I confront bodily disassociation and ecological disconnect

In being, I am hypha-gallery-sugar-house-island and long silencesIn the quiet corners of memory and the everyday the figures exist in a state of flux between themselves and their dreamlike environment. The painting exists within multiple layers of time fractured, tender, and unstable. Like recalling a blurred memory, resisting clarity. Teetering on the edge of dissolve, In Being, I Am holds a psychological resonance, touching on quiet intimacy and the poetic space between illusion and reality.
