How its Made: The poppy is kilncasted

this requires lots of monitoring in the kiln to get the design I want

By using extra heat and time the glass fused to the stainless steel and created a rim at the kiln floor

There is a wire on the back for hanging

Artistic Process:  first the design then lots of measuring and cutting of glass into 6 large triangles of dark green (2 fused together for each section (triangle)

The koi fish swarm up to the surface when I walked up to the pond, some getting far out of the water and others further down. so fun to watch and relaxing.
