Slippery Slope hypha-gallery-catford where even the most depletedSlippery Slope (2025) is a ceramic painting that demonstrates the movement of glazes during a firing in the kiln. Certain glazes develop tertiary hues through the chemical changes that occur at high temperatures while others swirl together to create unpredictable patterns. The work is about chain reactions and timelines, embracing both anticipated and serendipitous cause and effect relationships.
