The Shimano velocity carp rod is exclusive to Angling Direct and packs a 5lb test curve, sending spods and spombs out to a distance of up to 150yards in the hands of an experienced angler with a well-developed casting technique, and allowing you to present a full load of spod bait to those elusive marginal carp with ease, hopefully luring them over to your line during the course of a session
Bank: anglers fish dams with medium rods
I prefer the LFS platform over the SLP and I'm glad to see them continuing to improve it (my only SLP Custom left me feeling like they took a step in the wrong direction)
In addition to all-purpose freshwater spinning rods, you'll also find special-purpose rigs here
It will be the best one yet
