Transform your trusted Abu Garcia round baitcasting reel into a high-performance fishing machine with our all-new Stage 4 Tuning Kit
The legendary Abu Garcia Ambassadeur is a true workhorse, a reel trusted by generations of anglers for its durability and timeless design
bait, this works perfectly
It is fished weightless so you are relying on the salt in the bait to sink it, sometimes fish will gulp it up as it falls, but more often than not you need to wait for it to sink down before giving it a slight twitch and reeling in your slack a little repeating this twitch, reel, pause, cadence through the strike zone
So, silver and blueish-green lures should work well
The catch was all the more impressive because the diehard teenager caught it on 4-pound test during wintertime after 12 months of intense and obsessive effort
