I finally came up with my design, which combines a fishing rod holder I liked with a Lego storage unit with sliding drawers

I find it pretty hard to find anything else that universally will catch fish anywhere you go

I use this tactic to learn the bottom of the lake, learn how to use my electronics, and of course catching fish in places other people may not look

If you plan on fishing for larger channel catfish then the Abu Garcia 6500 C3 or something in the 6000 series will be a better fit (these are the same reels suggested for blues and flatheads, so keep reading)
