I got wet

On an all-day hike along the coast of Lake Superior, one tester reported that she could scramble up bluffs without hesitating thanks to the close fit, and found the Trackers perfect for agate-hunting on beaches en route: I didnt get any gravel in my shoes, and I could scamper into the water or get caught by waves and my feet stayed dry. The Trackers have no shank or rock plate, so you may want an option with greater underfoot protection for treacherous scree or treks with multi-day loads

Sorry 13 fishing, but it's back to daiwa & abu for me

A good reliable bag should be well-padded and protected but should never add so much to the load on your back
