Shimano Vanford FA Spinning Reel Review Positioned as the spiritual descendent of the legendary CI4+ Stradic and the evolution of the previous Vanford, this reel isnt just an updateits a complete reimagining of what a finesse-focused spinning reel can be
Fortunately, this reels side plates are easy to remove some of the easiest Ive seen
These reels can handle heavy lines and lures, and are great for precise casting
So we have baitcasters: hard to cast, hard to control, and generally designed for smaller saltwater fish
Since the reel can be operated with one hand, it is more efficient for repeated casting
