The reel is constructed with high-quality materials that ensure long-lasting performance and resistance to corrosion
The earliest fishing reel was invented in China at least since the Song dynasty, as shown by detailed illustration of an angler fishing with reel from Chinese paintings and records beginning about 1195 AD, although sporadic textual descriptions of line wheels used for angling had existed since the 3rd century
The rod's grip features an ergo-molded EVA foam section right behind the reel seat Personally, this ergo grip feature has little affect on me while fishing since I rarely hold my casting combo this far back
Whether you like to jig or cast, the spinning reel gives you the versatility you need in a one-and-done fishing reel
Id caution exposing the inside of the sideplate to too much freshwater though, as the main bearing support should try to stay dry as much as possible
