daiwa 2023 saltiga spinning reels Reel Daiwa was able to further refine this top of line spinning reel with their Airdrive design 2023 Daiwa Saltiga Spinning Reels

I pair it with a Dobyn's champion xp and I use it for medium sized swimbaits, finesse jigs and small chatterbaits

Strength and durability matter more in most river situations

With water in the 40-45-mark bass are typically quite lethargic so I like to stick with something that runs deep and has a faint action, such as the Smithwick Deep Running Rattlin Rogue on light line like 8 lb

As I mentioned in the video, white is so tough to beat because of its chameleon like ability to take on the tint of the water around it and work in any water clarity (white reflects the most light possible) so fish tend to pick up on it a bit easier

If you havent found a favorite yet, heres a few I really had a lot of success with last year
