Description

Using a longer fly line is not ideal as it is too thick and would require a much larger reel

the reason i set drag to almost point of break is that the rod will be taking on some of this acceleration of hook as this is what realy breaks line or looses fish

With this I can comfortably cast out everything from a small spinner right up to an 8-inch crankbait (although with the larger lures its more of a gentle lob, but the weight of the lure still carries it a good distance)
