asian fisherman with net fish figurine ivory hand carved Small of holding A late 19th century Chinese

I know that I will turn to the Savage Minnow or the Sandeel V2 Weedless depending on how I am fishing more than worrying so much about the actual body shape of the lure, but at the end of the day when you rig a paddletail on a ball shaped jig head and swim it back to you, well it looks pretty good to me

Rig these the same way as an Ace Hi Fly and Octopus Hoochie behind a flasher

If you are using "red wrigglers" (smaller compost worms), a #10 or #12 is perfect

A square bill is great around wood cover and rock

They are durable, I fish primarily from a pair of small aluminium rigs and they've taken abuse just fine
