This rare beauty is owned by my dear friend Billy Taylor who also collects Ambassadeur
But Im happy to say that the Veritas guides, so far, have held up considerably well throughout my testing
The Ambassadeur S Reel features a powerful 5.1:1 gear ratio for serious winding power and torque
To further reduce size, the Black Max features a hybrid V-Spool and hybrid V-Rotor design
The manuals are almost as varied as the reels themselves
Its something you need to see and feel in person to relate to, and a very exciting innovation for this introductory level bass rod
