Under most circumstances, when wanting to fish quickly, I use a squarebill crankbait to search out cover and structure, looking for a reaction bite yet at the same time covering water in search for actively feeding fish

A lightweight bait cast net improves control and reduces fatigue during repeated throws

I choose to throw all of these baits on Favorite Rods, and my go-to topwater rod is a 73 extra heavy Big Sexy. This rod allows me to pull fish from anywhere and always allows me to get solid hooksets every time

They both retail for $34.95
