With an aluminum handle and EVA knobs, these reels not only perform exceptionally but also add flair to your angling adventures
It got a new top at some point in its life likely at the factory, so the dovetail tenon is hidden under the top rather than cut around it
If you find youre getting slack in your line during the hookset or fight and thats causing you to lose fish, tighten your drag a little
On the reel foot (the part that attaches to the rod), you will see a stamped number
Without a braking system the resulting backlash line leaving the reel faster than it can leave the rod will create a tangled birds nest of line just in front of your reel
As I mentioned earlier, Ive caught bass up to 5 pounds with this reel and Ive never felt out-of-control throughout the fight
