I am not at all up on Daiwa spinning reels and their own sizings and/or codes these days, but I do know enough about a few of the Penn spinning reels to have got my head around their sizes when compared to Shimano (a Penn 3500 is essentially the same size as a Shimano 4000 or indeed Shimano C5000, and a Penn 2500 is the same size as a Shimano 2500 or Shimano C3000, sorry I cant help you on the current Daiwa comparisons)
The barb is buried past the point of easy removal, blood is flowing, and youre faced with a decision that will define the rest of your weekend: Where exactly do you go from here
To reengage the reel, the angler simply turns the handle
Also using a SlobberKnocker (chatter bait) *see here in two to five feet of water has produced some nice Reds
Fancy, long-finned guppies will not fare as well as their more subdued feeder guppy relatives and will likely be the recipients of aggression from male bettas, so it is best to avoid the flashy fish with bright colors
To reduce frustration and reduce the number of lures lost in the weeds, try upgrading the fishing line from the usual 4 to 8-pound test line typically used for walleye fishing to the 12 to 14-pound test
